Our Story

Rooted in Faith. Growing in Knowledge. Living with Purpose.
Our school is a K-8, co-ed Catholic school. Our academic approach develops engaged minds, cultivates work ethic, and fosters a lifelong love of learning. We encourage curiosity, critical thinking and rigorous analysis. Not only do our students master subject matter but they graduate possessing the skills to succeed in high school and beyond.

Because an excellent education develops the whole child, our broad curriculum and extra-curricular activities nurture leadership, social, artistic, personal and athletic ability. Corpus Christi athletics emphasize sportsmanship and skill, while our arts programs encourage historic knowledge and participation. Our focus on social and emotional learning helps students build self-confidence, self-discipline and respect for each other.

Ultimately we measure ourselves by the strength of our students’ character. We develop young people who proactively give of themselves to improve the lives of others and who graduate prepared and committed to improve our world.

As a Catholic school, we practice our faith through daily prayer, weekly liturgy attendance and regular sacrament receipt. We demonstrate our faith through our moral and ethical choices. We live our faith by treating others as we wish to be treated.
Our Mission

Corpus Christi is a Catholic Parochial School where we partner with Christ and the Parish community to share the message of the Gospel and build a vibrant, inclusive community where faith, learning, and personal growth come together. We are committed to nurturing and challenging each student in a supportive Catholic environment that inspires purpose, compassion and academic excellence.
Our History

Corpus Christi school was established on September 27, 1951 by six members of the Sisters of St. Louis, a religious order founded in France during the 1800's. They began with 290 students in first through sixth grades. Seventy years later, we serve students in kindergarten through eighth grade and remain inspired by the Sisters of St. Louis whose motto, “Sint Unum – May all be One” calls us to grow towards oneness with God and all of creation.
Accreditation

Corpus has successfully received a full-term accreditation by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
