Pretend you are a news reporter near Mazy May Creek and write a newspaper article about Walt's achievement. Describe the main events of the story, explain's Walt's motivation for doing what he did, and tell which of his strongest qualities led to the conflict's successful resolution. 
 
Be sure to answer the following questions in your article:
  • WHO (Who was involved?)

  • WHEN (When did the events take place?)

In class, you were assigned the number 1 or the number 3. If you were a 1, you are writing the story in first person. If you were a 3, you are writing the story in 3rd person. 
 
In one paragraph (6 - 10 sentences) or more, tell this story:
