Rooted in Faith, Growing in Knowledge and Living with Purpose.
At Corpus Christi School, faith and learning come together to form a vibrant academic community where every child is known, loved and challenged to reach their fullest potential. Guided by Christ and supported by our parish community, we nurture the whole child—mind, body and spirit—within a caring and inclusive environment. From Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, our students grow in wisdom, confidence, and compassion as they discover their God-given gifts, pursue excellence in all they do, and are empowered to live out the Gospel through faith, knowledge, and love.
Social Emotional Learning
Social emotional learning (SEL) is essential for helping students thrive both academically and personally. We recognize that strong social emotional skills contribute significantly to a student's overall success in the classroom and beyond. To support this, we implement the Second Step Program, which equips students with practical skills for everyday success.
Through this program, we teach techniques that foster confidence, goal setting, and effective decision making. Students learn how to collaborate with peers in both academic and social settings, enhancing their ability to work as part of a team. Additionally, the program helps them navigate the world more effectively, developing the resilience and emotional intelligence needed to face challenges. by prioritizing social-emotional learning, we empower our students to build meaningful relationships and make informed choices setting them up for lifelong success.
Each stage of learning—Primary (K-2), Intermediate (3-5), and Middle School (6-8)—builds upon the last, helping students develop strong academic foundations, enduring faith, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
