Community and Connection

Student Community

At Corpus Christi School, we believe that while academics are essential, community is just as important for helping students thrive. Our strong sense of community is one of the things that makes Corpus such a special place to learn and grow. Stingrays are encouraged to build friendships across all grade levels, creating a supportive and welcoming environment for everyone.

 Las Familias

A cherished Corpus tradition, Las Familias brings together students from every grade level into multi-grade “families.” Each Familia is led by an 8th-grade student who serves as a mentor and role model. Throughout the year, families participate together in school-wide activities, service projects, and celebrations. This program helps students form lasting friendships, learn from one another, and truly feel part of one united school community.

Spirit Days

School spirit shines bright all year long through our monthly Spirit Days—a fun way for students and staff to celebrate together! Spirit Days are sponsored by the Student Council. Each month features a special theme, activity, and treat.

Halloween Carnival

Our annual Halloween Carnival is a student favorite and a highlight of the fall season! After the festive costume parade, students enjoy a fun-filled half day of carnival games, prizes, and Halloween excitement. The 8th graders take the lead in creating a spooky Haunted House and “House of Boo” where students get to enjoy pizza and other treats. Families and younger siblings are warmly invited to join in the celebration—making it a day full of laughter, creativity, and community spirit.

Grandparents Luncheon & May Crowning

Each spring, we celebrate two beloved Corpus traditions on the same special day. The morning begins with our May Crowning Mass, where 8th-grade students honor the Blessed Mother in a beautiful ceremony symbolizing integrity, faith, and devotion. Following Mass, we welcome grandparents to join their grandchildren for our Grandparents Luncheon—a catered meal filled with joy, gratitude, and togetherness. This cherished day is a heartfelt celebration of faith, family, and the generations that make our community so special.

Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week is a joyful celebration of faith, learning, and community spirit. Students enjoy themed dress-up days, a lively school-wide assembly, and the always-popular In-N-Out Day. It’s a week filled with gratitude, fun, and school pride!
